Spencer-Young VFW Post 12063 provided $9,227.97 in VTF-supported assistance to Custer County veterans through January 31st, 2026. Our post recently turned back $7k of our VTF award, as there were several other organizations in the state in need of additional funds. That amount was based on what we are projected to use before the end of the grant term, June 30th, 2026. These funds helped local veterans maintain housing, keep utilities active, and meet urgent basic needs.
All assistance is provided in accordance with the Colorado Veterans Trust Fund (VTF) program guidelines.
